How do I make an appointment?
What insurance plans to you take?
Massengale Counseling is not currently accepting insurance plans. Currently accepting self-pay only. Please check with your insurance plan for information on your in-network providers.
What are your fees?
Fees depend upon the service provided. Please reference the Fee Schedule for details.
What is telehealth?
Telehealth is a method of providing therapy through digital resources such as video-chat. Massengale Counseling currently provides 100% of services through telehealth. If you have questions specific to Massengale Counseling's telehealth, please feel free to contact me.
What are your hours?
I set my own schedule, so I can work with individuals. Please use the Book Online page to create view available times.
What kinds of services or counseling do you have?
I provide individual counseling services for adults. I am trained in trauma, grief and bereavement, life coaching, and other areas. I have counseling experience with communication, ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief and bereavement, trauma, addictions, and several other areas.
In addition to individual services, I also provide resources for current mental health practitioners and individuals looking for self-improvement through my shop.
Finally, I offer psychoeducation classes in a range of topics. Available classes will be listed under my products and services page.
What types of faith backgrounds do you service?
I do not turn away anyone for guidance no matter their belief. I strive to heal the pain in the hearts and the minds of those who are suffering and give them peace.
Do you have services for addiction?
Massengale Counseling is not currently taking clients with chemical dependency needs. If you are in need of these services, please use the https://findtreatment.gov website to find a local provider.
How many sessions do I need to attend?
The number of sessions depends on your needs. During the intake, I will determine how frequently sessions should occur to help you (i.e. weekly, biweekly, monthly). Some individuals feel better after a few sessions while others take longer. I will dedicate as much time as you need to feel like you can move forward in a healthy manner.
Do you follow HIPAA regulations?
Yes. I believe that your privacy is extremely important. I want you to feel open and comfortable about sharing your information during sessions. I hold myself to the standards set forth by HIPAA.
Do you prescribe medication?
I do not have the ability to prescribe medication; however, if that is what you are exploring, referrals to other practitioners can be made for those services.
